What’s your role at the D2 Center?
I am an Intake Specialist and YAN.
How long have you worked at the D2 Center?
Since September, 2011.
Tell me about your education.
I graduated from Omaha North High and received my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Why were you interested in working at the D2 Center?
I enjoy working in education. Having the opportunity to help youth re-engage and achieve a goal of receiving a high school diploma is extremely rewarding.
What’s your favorite thing about working at the D2 Center?
I have the opportunity to meet students from many different walks of life. I love getting to know each student individually, sharing experiences and having a chance to make a difference. The greatest reward is watching our youth reach their full potential, receiving a high school diploma and helping them prepare for post-secondary education/training.
Tell me about your family.
I have two sons, two sisters and two brothers.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy hanging out with my family, reading, traveling and watching movies.
