The Nebraska Youth Conservation Program is seeking Crew Members, ages 16-20, to work with the Nebraska Games & Parks Commission this summer, June 25 – August 3, 2012. This is a great opportunity to work outdoors in a state park and learn about landscaping, trail development, painting, carpentry, and vehicle maintenance.
Students will be able to interview for Crew Member positions here at the D2 Center on April 24 from 9 AM – 5 PM. D2 Center Project Coordinator Albert Varas is offering sessions to help students prepare for the application and interview process. Interested students should attend one of these sessions to best prepare for the interviews on April 24.
The information session, resume building and interviewing workshops will be held:
— April 17, 2012, 3-5 PM
— April 20, 2012, 1-3 PM
— April 23, 2012 1-3 PM or 3-5 PM.
Attendance at one of these sessions will count for hours toward a D2 Center Careers and Community Engagement elective credit. If you are interested, please contact Mr. Varas at 402-502-8534, a.varas @ d2center.org, or message us on our D2 Center Students page on Facebook.
